Halden Theatres Banner

Halden Theatre was officially established in Nottingham in January 2009 by Daniel Hallam (current Artistic Director), although it had previously been operating as an ‘underground’ theatre group in other areas of England. Daniel has worked in theatre all his working life, and brings an immense amount of theatrical and media experience to the company.
With Halden Theatre's debut performance of Huis Clos in July 2009, followed by Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest in November 2009 Halden Theatre had a very successful first year.
Halden Theatre aims to 'bring theatre back to the people', and in order to achieve this we have established a set of principles that we will follow.

Halden Theatre is run solely by volunteers. If you would like to volunteer please contact us and let us know what you can do to help us. If you have liked what you have read here and would like to become a member then please get in touch!
Halden Theatre’s blog can be found at www.haldentheatre.wordpress.com, and is scrawled by Halden Theatre’s Producer, Richie Garton. Give it a read to find out all the latest goings on within the company and keep an eye on what we’re doing!
